A favorite summer event, the Naperville Exchange Club's Ribfest ushers in the July 4th weekend each year.  For more info, visit www.ribfest.net for event details.

Carmen DiGiovine 2010 Memorial Ride

Crone Middle School, Naperville

This is a well supported recreational ride for beginners and veteran riders.  Depending on your stamina, bike a 20, 40, 55, 85, or 102 mile route.  All routes are SAG supported and SAG stops are fully staffed with great food & drinks.  A portion of the proceeds benefits the program and services of DuPage PADS.  Visit www.napervillesunrise.com/Ride for all the info!

PADS Run/Walk 2010

DuPage PADS Support Center, Wheaton

Reserve September 11th for the PADS Run/Walk 2010!  The CARA-approved course will appeal to serious runners, casual joggers, and families.  Enjoy music, refreshments and prizes after the race.

Soup's On!

Tellabs World Headquarters, Naperville

While the name says soup, the Soup’s On! fundraiser offers a full menu to sample from more than twenty of the area’s top restaurants, including decadent desserts!  This fun, family event also offers musical entertainment, a silent auction, and a special children’s play area sponsored by the DuPage Children’s Museum.  DuPage PADS is one of three local charities that benefits from this event.  Visit www.soupsonrotary.com for more information.

4th Annual Taste of Hope: Chefs Uniting to End Homelessness

Abbington Distinctive Banquets, Glen Ellyn

Leading area chefs and restaurants once again partnered with DuPage PADS to offer a late winter’s feast, highlighting the outstanding dining choices available in DuPage County. Live music, silent and live auctions, and a raffle offered unique travel and entertainment options all while helping support our work to provide housing solutions for people who are homeless in DuPage County.

7th Annual: Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast

Krasa Center, Benedictine University, Lisle

With humor and insight keynote speaker Gary Moore, author of the critically acclaimed book, Playing with the Enemy described the story of how his father turned enemies into friends during World War II.  A tenant in our Permanent Supportive Housing Program courageously shared her story of hardship and growth, made possible through the support of DuPage PADS programs and the compassion of our staff and volunteers. Thank you to all who participated in this moving event!
