Interim Overnight Housing
The Interim Housing Program offers men, women, and children a safe environment. The spirit of hospitality is a priority, as well as respect for each person.
Locations around DuPage County
The Interim (Overnight) Housing Program is housed in different churches and congregations each night of the week on a seasonal basis.
From October - April, three sites are open each night with a maximum bed capacity of 140.
During May - September, one shelter site was open on most nights with a maximum bed capacity of 65.
The Interim Housing Sites are staffed primarily with volunteers, and each site has a PADS staff member present or on call at all times during the times the site is open. Staff and Volunteers provide dinner, breakfast, and a bag lunch; sleeping space; and support activities.
