Our guests need a safe bed, a warm meal, and a path to end their homelessness.

DuPagePads assists people who are unsheltered in the community–a condition that can be dangerous when weather is extremely cold or hot, but also year-round, because of the lack of a door for safety, and an inability to access clean water, food and a washroom.

1/3 of our approximately 300 guests at DuPagePads’ Interim Housing Center are children, predominantly under the age of 5. Another 1/3 are seniors who are over 60. All of them need our help on their journey to end their homelessness. All of them wish for a home of their own.

The staff at DuPagePads help clients become self-sufficient and find them a home. We offer vocational and educational supports to help each person in our care have access to tools for success. In addition to Interim Housing, we provide housing supports through 180 Permanent Supportive Housing for people with disabilities, and Rapid Rehousing apartments throughout DuPage County.

Throughout our programs, case managers empower clients to believe in themselves and find independence.
