Volunteer at Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot in Elmhurst. What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Kick of your day with a morning walk or run at the 35th annual Dan Gibbon’s Turkey Trot in Elmhurst. Proceeds from this race will benefit area charities that feed the hungry, including DuPagePads and our mission to end homelessness.
Taste of Hope 2019 – Thursday, March 7, 2019; 6:00pm – 9:00pm Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace Guests will have the luxury of sampling signature dishes from 25 of the area’s leading upscale restaurants.
DuPagePads clients often have health conditions that are intensified by homelessness. Not having stable housing, being food insecure and experiencing harsh weather conditions all negatively impact people’s health and contribute to healthcare gaps.
Housing ends homelessness. Currently, DuPagePads is in the process of adding 13 new Supportive Housing apartment units, providing the opportunity to transform the lives of chronically homeless individuals
Quickly Ending Homelessness – DuPagePads continues to reduce clients average length of stay as homelessness causes trauma and uncertainty.

DuPagePads Attends 2018 National Alliance to End Homelessness Conference. Recently, 2,000 homeless service providers gathered in Washington, D.C. for the annual conference which allows thought leaders on solving homelessness to convene to share their best ideas. Attendees heard from NAEH President & CEO Nan Roman; Senators Kamala Harris & Cory Booker.
Under-employed, Ceneca and her two young sons found themselves in need of housing. DuPagePads Housing Now program assisted Cenaca in moving from a pad on the floor to a key in the door.
DuPagePads has earned a 4-star rating, the highest rating possible, from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator.
DuPagePads Medical Respite program provides a place to recuperate and recover from acute medical conditions. Jennifer Coyer, Client Service Center Director, shares how DuPagePads helps people recover and move toward stability.
DuPagePads was one of 36 not-for-profit organizations to receive a grant at the DuPage Foundation’s Spring Grant Awards Breakfast. The grant received will help underwrite DuPagePads Family Outreach program.
