Charity Challenge: The Great Descent!
Saturday, April 12th, 2025
A first for DuPagePads, this thrilling fundraiser, hosted in partnership with Over The Edge, invites 100 supporters to rappel 12 stories down from the roof of Hotel Arista, located in the heart of the CityGate Centre dining and entertainment campus in Naperville, Illinois.
As one of only few available opportunities in Illinois to participate in 2025, this unique fundraiser will demonstrate what is possible when we strive for new heights together! We hope you will join us as one of the 100 brave neighbors stepping off the roof of Hotel Arista and helping to end homelessness here at home!
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
Our Interim Housing program could not function without volunteers. Can you help serve a meal, assist with washing linens for our beds, or become a tutor for one of the 100 children in our programs?
“It meant so much to me that he was born with a home, not hungry or without clothes, but surrounded by people who love him.”
DuPagePads’ commitment to ending homelessness safely during the COVID-19 pandemic has transformed our work, leading to a better future for families and individuals. Learn how you can support our Interim Housing Center, and be a part of the journey toward stable housing and independence.
To determine the non-profit’s rating, Charity Navigator reviews each agency’s website and IRS Form 990. Receiving the highest rating from Charity Navigator indicates that DuPagePads has strong financial health and a commitment to accountability and transparency.
DuPagePads Young Professionals play a key role in supporting our mission, with a strong presence at all DuPagePads events and volunteering at the Interim Housing Center (IHC) serving dinner. Members are generous with their time, money, and skills, assisting DuPagePads in fundraising, advocacy, and volunteering.
Not the shelter.
Not the nights spent in a car, in a motel room or on the street. DuPagePads’ goal is to help each person we serve to have the independence of a home of their own.
The solution to end homelessness is more complex than providing individuals with food and shelter. Founded in 1985, DuPagePads is the largest provider of interim and permanent housing, coupled with support services in order to help individuals work toward a place to call home – DuPagePads vital support services enable the individuals we help to receive case management and life coaching, employment support such as GED courses and job coaching, as well as engagement with employers—effectively stopping the cycle of homelessness.
DuPagePads IS the solution to end homelessness — because when someone believes in you, everything can change.
