Notice is hereby given that a virtual public hearing will be held at 10 a.m. on February 18 on Ring Central.

Due to COVID safety concerns, interested parties must utilize the above link to gain access to the virtual public hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public comments regarding a request(s) for Community Development Block Grant -Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) funding to be submitted to the DuPage Community Development Commission to prevent, prepare for, and/or respond to COVID-19. Funding is being requested for DuPagePads in the amount of $112,000 for Emergency Shelter Services for Hotel-Placed Families and Individuals Experiencing Homelessness during COVID-19. These funds will provide for critical support services for clients utilizing DuPagePads’ interim housing program (emergency shelter), including case management, food assistance and access to basic needs. Persons interested in commenting on the above projects may do so in person at the virtual public hearing. Comments on the above activities may also be submitted in writing to DuPagePads, 601 W. Liberty Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187, or by visiting dupagepads.org/contact. Written comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on February 17.
