During the blistery winters in Chicagoland, caring for individuals and families experiencing homelessness can be a challenge, but our team truly goes above and beyond every day! We couldn’t be prouder of our dedicated staff who have shown incredible commitment and compassion by braving the harsh winter weather to provide essential care and warmth to our clients experiencing homelessness during this challenging season.

As temperatures plummet and snow continues to pile up around our neighborhoods, the challenges faced by those without shelter become even more pronounced. It is crucial for DuPagePads to be proactive, ensuring that our neighbors have access to a safe shelter from the elements, warm clothing, and hot meals. This winter, we are grateful to be able to open our Access Center in Wheaton as an overnight warming site from 4pm-8am nightly 7 nights a week. Your support in our mission is saving lives this winter!

Throughout the frigid conditions this week we are reminded of the power of community and the impact of compassion during this difficult season. Thank you for continuing to support our mission to end homelessness and for helping us to provide warmth and compassionate care to neighbors when they need it most.
