Record Breaking Taste of Hope
What a great success this year’s Taste of Hope Event was!
We are overjoyed with the support for our 9th Annual Taste of Hope, a record breaking-sold out event, raising more than $220,000 for our mission to end homelessness! This event was made possible by the 26 elite restaurants in our area, our event sponsors, our volunteers, local businesses who donated auction prizes and 540 attendees all partnering with us to help families and individuals in our community rebuild their lives.
Highlights of the evening include:
- Beautiful piano music when entering the Abbington, played by Lynette Zeli
- Spectacular signature dishes made by 26 elite restaurants (listed below)
- “You Pick One” raffle winner completely surprised by her win
- Wine Pull- always a hit and such a great bargain
- Inspiring message from Carol Simler, DuPagePads President and CEO, and Jane Doyle, DuPagePads Secretary Board of Directors.
- Exciting atmosphere with attendees raising their paddles to donate towards our mission to end homelessness.
