Six Ways to Support DuPagePads this Summer
As you plan your summer calendar, keep these fun and rewarding opportunities in mind. Have a blast while helping to end homelessness.
1) Attend a Cougars Game in June
Watch the Kane County Cougars take on the Bowling Green Hot Rods on June 4th, 2015. Tickets are $12 each with a portion of the proceeds benefiting DuPagePads. Purchase your tickets today here.
It’s dollar beverage night – beer and soda will be sold for only $1! Be sure to stick around for the fireworks after the game.
Not able to attend that night?…Visit the Cougars anytime in June, participate in the 50/50 raffle and the proceeds will go to DuPagePads!
2) Volunteer at a Festival
Help end homelessness while volunteering at a summer festival.
For all events, the more volunteers DuPagePads sends, the more funds will be donated to support DuPagePads mission to end homelessness in DuPage County.

Rotary Grovefest –June 25-28th, 2015
Rotary Grovefest, presented by the Rotary Club of Downers Grove, consists of family activities, carnival rides and crowd-pleasing musical entertainment including 7th Heaven, Mason Rivers, Maggie Speaks and more!
Ribfest- Exchange Club of Naperville -July 2-5th, 2015
Ribfest, presented by the Exchange Club of Naperville, consists of family activities, award-winning rib vendors from across the country, carnival rides and crowd-pleasing musical entertainment including The Band Perry, Kellie Pickler, Sammy Hagar and more.

Naperville Ale Fest – July 18th
Naperville’s 3rd Annual Ale Fest and DuPagePads need your help! This event showcases over 200 unique beers from craft breweries around the country, and also features live music and food from some of Naperville’s favorite restaurants.
All volunteers must be 21+ years of age and will receive a t-shirt, boxed lunch and invite to a Volunteer Thank You Party to be held on July 26. Click here for more info.
Naperville’s Last Fling – September 4-7th
This four-day festival features live music with bands including Daughtry on the main stage, Family Fun Land, carnival, special events such as eating and cooking contests, wine tasting and the Labor Day Parade.
All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and free admission to the festival.
Join us for this one-of-a-kind fundraiser. 15 karting teams will compete in a four-hour, fast paced race around an exclusive track at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet to raise $75,000 for DuPagePads mission to end homelessness.

4) Run/Walk- in DuPagePads 11th Annual Run 4 Home
DuPagePads 11th Annual Run 4 Home, 5K & 10K Run, 5K Walk, is Sept. 19th at 8:00am outside DuPagePads Client Service Center in Wheaton. This year’s CARA certified race course will take runners through the scenic streets of Wheaton.
Participants can look forward to door prizes, food, music, awards and more.

6) Volunteer at our Overnight Sites
Volunteers are essential to DuPagePads mission of ending homelessness in DuPage County and our greatest need for volunteers is over the summer.
