DuPagePads Receives Not-For-Profit of the Year from Chamber630
Recently, DuPagePads was awarded Chamber630’s Not-For-Profit of the Year.
Nominated by Chamber630 members, DuPagePads completed an application to be considered for the award. Winners were determined by votes from members of the judging panel of past winners. Over 50 nominations were received.
“Each year I serve on the judging panel, I’m amazed at the high quality of worthy applicants,” said Lisa Wenzel of Wenzel Select Properties in a blog announcing the Chamber630 finalists.
Chamber630 held their award ceremony late August at the Hollywood Boulevard Cinema in Woodridge. The event recognizes the businesses and professionals in seven different types of organizations throughout the area.
Carol Simler, DuPagePads President and CEO accepted the award.
Simler said, “DuPagePads is thrilled to receive the 2016 Chamber630 Not-For-Profit Community Excellence award.
Thirty years ago, Downers Grove was the home of the first congregations that hosted the families and individuals who are homeless in our community…and they continue to offer shelter, meals and safety today.
We are very grateful to this prestigious chamber and to their wonderful community of members!”
