Known as a long-time social justice advocate, Johnson will offer both historical and personal perspectives on the issue of homelessness. Attendees will hear heartfelt stories from Tom, a program participant from 20 years ago as well as a single mother currently utilizing DuPagePads services.
Since 1985, DuPage Pads has served 28,348 individuals by providing 688,409 nights of shelter and 2,181,012 meals to families and individuals who are homeless. DuPagePads knows that 30 years of service couldn’t have happened without the help of their more than 4,000 volunteers. DuPagePads is asking their community supporters to share names of volunteers of 20 years or more so that they can be personally recognized at the event.
Tickets are available for $45 per person and Tables of 8 are available for $360 per table. To purchase tickets, click here or or share the name of a 20 year or more volunteer, call Kariann at 630.682.3846 x2290.
