Wheaton, IL (April 29, 2014) Continental Motors Group of Naperville and DuPagePads have teamed up for the fourth annual karting enduro for charity! Fifteen teams will compete in raising money for DuPagePads mission to end homelessness with a goal of reaching $75,000 by race day. This year’s race will take place on Sunday, June 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL.
Participants in this year’s event can look forward to a fast-paced, unique racing experience and an opportunity to help transform lives. For more than 28 years, DuPagePads has provided people who are homeless with housing, support services and employment. The Drive For 75 will support these key programs, helping people obtain stable housing and rebuild their lives. “The teams are competitive on the course but even more so in their fundraising for DuPagePads. At the end of race day, everyone will walk away a little tired but more importantly, proud of what their efforts have accomplished for this organization and those they serve,” says Joel Weinberger, who also serves as DuPagePads Board Vice President.
Space is limited and with only 15 teams participating. Each and every team is asked to give their all in helping achieve the $75,000 goal. Racing advantages will be given to top fundraising teams and participants! Teams will compete for awards based on their karting experience level. The minimum fundraising goal per team is $2,500, and there are a few team slots open for interested teams.
