WHEATON, ILLINOIS – Tickets are now on sale for DuPagePads’ most inspirational event, the 13th Annual Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast. This year’s breakfast will take place on Wednesday, November 4th at Benedictine University in Lisle from 7:00-8:30am. The entire community is invited to begin their day with this truly uplifting event!
Attendees will hear heartfelt stories of transformation from Tom, a program participant from 20 years ago as well as a single mother currently utilizing DuPagePads services. After reflecting on the past and present, DuPagePads President & CEO, Carol Simler, will share the agency’s vision for the future.
Dick Johnson, long time, award winning NBC 5 Chicago news anchor and reporter, will be the emcee for the morning. “We are thrilled to have Dick Johnson as our emcee. His dedication to the community and issues facing those who are homeless is inspiring,” says Carol Simler, DuPagePads President & CEO.
DuPagePads knows that 30 years of service couldn’t have happened without the help of their more than 4,000 volunteers. DuPagePads is asking their community supporters to share names of volunteers of 20 years or more so that they can be personally recognized at the event.
Tickets are available for $40 per person on or before 10/16 and $45 per person after 10/16. Tables of 8 are also available for $320 per table on or before 10/16 and $360 per table after 10/16. To purchase tickets or share the name of a 20 year or more volunteer, please call DuPagePads at 630.682.3846 x2290 or visit www.dupagepads.org.
Proceeds from the Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast will support families and individuals who are homeless to obtain housing, support services and employment. Please join us on November 4th and be part of the solution to end homelessness!
