Enjoy a Night Out at the Ballpark:
DuPagePads Night at Kane County Cougars, Thursday, May 22, 6:30 pm, Fifth Third Bank Ballpark
Come see the Kane County Cougars take on the Clinton LumberKings and support DuPagePads! There will also be hotdogs, beer and soda for only a $1! Tickets are $12 (Children 2 and under are free) and we will receive a portion of the ticket price. To purchase your tickets, click here.
Teach your Kids to Bake:
Ice Cream Cone Cupcake Class for Kids, Saturday, June 7th from 10-11 am, Wildfire in Oak Brook
Join Wildfire’s own Executive Chef Tony Mendoza as he teaches his secrets to baking, frosting and decorating ice cream cone cupcakes. Delicious! The cost for this event is $15 per child and all of the proceeds will be donated to DuPagePads. Space is limited! Call Nicole at 630.586.9000 to make your reservation!
Volunteer at Grovefest:
Rotary Grovefest, June 19-22, Downtown Downers Grove
We are in need of volunteers for the Rotary Grovefest! The more volunteers, the more funds we will receive. There are currently many shifts available, but they are filling up fast. Contact Stephanie Taylor for more information at 630.682.3846 ex. 2520 or by email at staylor@dupagepads.org.
Compete in a 4-Hour Go-Kart Race:
Drive for 75, June 29, 10 am-2 pm, Autobahn Country Club, Joliet
Continental Motors Group of Naperville, Autobahn Country Club and DuPagePads have teamed up for the fourth annual 4 hour karting enduro for charity! 15 teams will compete in raising money for DuPagePads with a goal of reaching $75,000 by race day. Racing advantages will be given to top fundraising teams, so make sure to check out our site regularly to see our updated leader board. Volunteer at Ribfest:
Naperville Exchange Club’s Ribfest, July 3-6 pm, Knoch Park, Naperville
We need volunteers for Ribfest – a fun and popular summer festival! The more volunteers we send, the more proceeds will be donated to DuPagePads. Can you help us? There are many tasks, dates and shifts available. Volunteers receive a t-shirt, place to park and admission to the festival after their shift. Run or Walk a 5k or 10k:
10th Annual DuPagePads Run 4 Home, 5k & 10k, September 6, 8 am, DuPagePads, Wheaton
Bring the family out to DuPagePads’ 10th Annual Run/Walk Event. This year’s course will take runners and walkers through scenic streets of Wheaton and back to DuPagePads for a celebration! A door prize drawing, food, music and so much more will be included! Register today at www.padsrun.org.
