Wednesday, November 8th, 7:00am – 8:30AM
Krasa Center, Benedictine University, Lisle
Join DuPagePads and keynote speaker Eric Soderholm, on Wednesday, November 8th, 7:00am-8:30am, for our 15th Annual Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast at Benedictine University in Lisle. Start your morning with an uplifting message of hope! Tickets are now on sale – reserve yours today!
At 7:00 am as the sun rises, our morning will start with DuPagePads President and CEO Carol Simler highlighting the agency’s current programs and our emerging vision for the future.
Attendees will then hear from a DuPagePads program participant whose life has been transformed by the agency’s housing programs and support services.
Keystone speaker Eric Soderholm, a former third baseman for the Chicago White Sox, will take the stage. After two solid seasons with the Minnesota Twins, Soderholm injured his knee in 1976, and ended up signing on the White Sox. During his time with White Sox, Soderholm hit 25 homeruns and became Sporting News “America League Comeback Player of the Year” in 1977. He retired from baseball in 1982 and breakfast attendees will hear how his passions have changed since his baseball days. Additionally, Soderholm will share how DuPagePads tagline “when somebody believes in you, everything changes” resonates in his life.
Tickets are available for $40 per person before 10/20/17 and $45 after 10/20/17. Tables are also available for $320 before 10/20/17 and $360 after 10/20/17. Click here to reserve your seats today or learn more about the event.
Your support of DuPagePads Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast will assist families and individuals who are homeless in obtaining housing, employment and support services to move people from a pad on the floor to a key in the door.
We hope you will be able to join us and be part of a community of people coming together, all with the goal to end homelessness.
