DuPagePads Young Professionals Council

DuPagePads Young Professionals play a key role in supporting our mission, with a strong presence at all DuPagePads events and volunteering at the Interim Housing Center. Members are generous with their time, money, and skills, assisting DuPagePads in fundraising, advocacy, and volunteering.

Purpose

Introduce emerging leaders to the mission of DuPagePads, to end homelessness in DuPage County, through volunteering, leadership, fundraising, and engagement.

While not required, we ask those who join the group to also donate $50 to help buy food and materials for Interim Housing volunteer outings. Members who donate $50 or more annually help provide meals for our clients and receive additional discounts and benefits at DuPagePads events. YPC Back to School Event! at Interim Housing Center (IHC) – Saturday, August 2nd, 12:00pm-3:30pm – IHC, Downers Grove

We have over 100 children staying with us daily and many of them are getting ready to go back to school next month! Help them celebrate the end of summer and the start of the school year at our Back to School event! Sign-up here

Networking & Donation Collection (and Trivia!) – Wednesday, August 20th, 5:30pm-7:30pm – Hawthorne’s Backyard, West Chicago

Dinner Service at Interim Housing Center (IHC) – Wednesday, September 10th, 5:00pm-7:30pm – IHC, Downers Grove

6-10 volunteers are needed to prepare and serve dinners to clients. Sign-up here

DuPagePads 23rd Annual Rock & Bowl to End Homelessness – Saturday, September 27th, 12:00pm-3:00pm – Fox Bowl, Wheaton
