Get on the Bus – Change for Change Fundraiser
Get on the bus with us, come and join our “change for change” program to help end homelessness in DuPage County. A great community involvement opportunity for students (elementary through college), congregations and their youth programs and any other service-oriented groups. Those that choose to get involved will be a part of a “fun” raising campaign to provide awareness for DuPage Pads.
To get involved, consider holding a Gift Card Drive. We are collecting $5, $10 and $20 gift cards for locations including:
- Target
- McDonalds
- CVS Pharmacy
- Kohl’s
- Walgreens
- Wal-Mart
- Food Stores, such as Jewel and Meier
- Gas Stations
These gift cards donations are provided to our clients for crucial needs. In order to have enough for everyone, the gift cards are handed out at the discretion of the case managers.
Your gift may provide:
- Gas for their car to get to and from work
- Medicine and prescription assistance
- Groceries
- Shoes and other needed clothing
- Diapers for Young Children
- Transportation to doctor’s appointments
How about collecting items at your next party or celebration in lieu of gifts? We keep a running list of items that allow us to provide basic needs for men, women and children.
